Braided thin skin hair system: strong hold

This is right for you if

• You want a fully undetectable system, even up close, thanks to the thin skin base
• You are after a different look, with braids already built into the system
• You want a strong, stable hold, even through sport or heavy activity
• You are fine replacing the system every 1-2 months in exchange for maximum realism

This is not right for you if

• You want a system that lasts longer between replacements: a lace or hybrid base lasts longer in that case
• You would rather take the system on and off every day: the thin skin base is built to stay on for its full wear cycle
• Braided styling is not your thing: our men’s hair systems range also includes classic styling

Specs

• Base: thin skin, full coverage across the entire surface
• Styling: integrated braids, pattern selectable from the product options
• Attachment: professional-grade adhesive, strong hold for the full wear cycle
• Hair: premium quality, hand-tied
• Average lifespan: 1-2 months with daily wear

How to apply

• Start with clean, dry skin, free of any hair product residue
• Apply the professional adhesive to the base or the skin, depending on your method
• Position the system along your natural hairline
• Press firmly for a few seconds, working from the edges toward the center
• Comb your own hair and the system together to blend the braided style

Classic hair system or braided: which one fits

A classic hair system is styled to match your own hair, built to look as close as possible to how you wore it before. The braided version comes with the pattern already set, built for anyone who wants a different look, with density built in. If this is your first hair system and you want the smallest possible change, the classic style fits better. If you want a different look from day one, the braided version is the more direct choice.

Maintenance

This braided system lasts 1 to 2 months with daily wear: the thin skin base gives a strong hold, but it has a shorter lifespan than a lace or hybrid base. Clean the base every 2-3 days with a cleanser made for thin skin bases, keep oils and conditioners away from the hairline, and avoid sleeping with styling product on the braids. The Newlacecu maintenance kit includes the right products for this base type. If you want a system with a longer lifespan, the men’s hair systems range also includes lace and hybrid base models. For a braid pattern outside the listed options, a custom order is also available.
