Will anyone be able to tell?

Can I cut the base myself?
Yes. The base trims with regular scissors. You don’t need a professional to size it, though we offer a base trim service if you want it done before shipping.
What adhesive should I use?
Tape works best with the poly perimeter on the Apex. We carry compatible tape in the maintenance section — or bundle it in when you order.
