The base: what it’s made of and why it works
The base is a matte skin (polyurethane): it disappears against your scalp instead of catching the light the way a glossy base does, and each hair is hand-tied one by one so it looks like it’s growing straight out of your skin, not sitting on top of it.
Available in two thicknesses: 0.06mm and 0.08mm. Both are durable and easy to clean; the practical difference is in how the base feels on your scalp and how it holds up under daily wear — if you’re unsure which one to pick, message us before ordering.
Works with either bonding glue or tape. Both give you all-day hold — which one you pick usually comes down to personal habit, not performance.
Who actually buys this piece
Most of our customers picking this toupee are dealing with a receding hairline or a thinning crown — not full baldness — and they want a fix without a multi-week wait. Three things about this specific piece tend to seal the decision:

How to apply it
With bonding glue or tape, whichever you prefer:
- clean your scalp and make sure it’s dry and free of product residue
- apply glue or tape along the base perimeter
- position the system along your natural hairline, starting from the front
- press firmly for 20-30 seconds along the entire edge
- comb and style it just like your own hair
Human or synthetic grey hair — which to choose
Under 40% grey, synthetic hair holds up fine — at that ratio it still looks convincing and costs less. Past 40%, synthetic starts to look flat up close, while human hair keeps its natural look even at higher ratios. That’s why we only use human hair above the 40% mark.
Care
Human hair component: sulfate-free shampoo every 7-10 wears, light conditioner, air-dry, max styling heat 356°F / 180°C.
If you chose under 40% grey (synthetic fiber): wash every 15-20 wears with synthetic-hair-specific products, no direct heat.
